The Terracon KDT bioprocess totes help manufacturers optimise the storage, hold and transfer of liquid solutions. Ideal for solution preparation, store and transport, bulk harvest, product pooling, and bulk intermediate hold applications.
The KDT series of totes are designed to suit all major bag brands and can be customised to meet specific bag and application needs from 50L to 500L and in standard configurations at 50, 100 and 200L.
The totes are constructed with a unique flat-pack ‘knockdown’ design that 1 operator can assemble in less than 1 minute. Furthermore, this simple, modular design allows for the totes to be disassembled into its own self contained base unit, reducing the storage volume when not in use, to less than 50% of the original size. Multiple totes can be packed on top of one another securely with interlocking features to significantly increase space when not in use. Each tote features flat smooth surfaces constructed from plastics suitable for GMP cleanroom use, that are chemically resistant and easy to clean.
Bag installation is easy as each tote features a transparent front viewing panel with removable insert to give the operator great access to the tote for proper bag fitment. This viewing panel also has markers to provide indication of fill level. The base of each tote provides ample room for hose manipulation and can be configured to accommodate varying bag drain port locations with positive lock bottom drain profiles for most bag brands.

Accessories such as Mobile Dolly with anti-static castors and GMP Lid (Dust Cover) GMP lids are available to improve the ease of use. Optional customisations such as status boards, pump shelves, and tube management systems, sight glass sides can be provided. Alternative coloured back panels can also help provide better visual of the bag and contents.
