Terracon Appoints Quality Engineering Manager to Facilitate Growth and Continued Customer Satisfaction

Terracon Corporation, the experts in single use accessories for the mixing, transferring and storing of fluids for biopharma and life science industries, has today announced the appointment of Karim Mattar as Quality Engineering Manager.

With many years of industrial and quality engineering experience in companies such as Tiffany’s, Whirlpool and most recently Life Instruments, Karim brings a breadth of knowledge to Terracon to support its continued pledge to customer satisfaction and quality products.

Commenting on why he chose Terracon for his next career move, Karim said “I’m excited to be joining a company striving for the highest of product quality and an ambitious growth strategy. Karim graduated with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a master’s in engineering management from Northeastern University in Boston, as well as being part of the Gordon Programme, where he completed his thesis project with Life Instruments Corporation, a manufacturer of surgical instruments for neurosurgeons and orthopaedic surgeons.

Karim has spent most of his career to date with Whirlpool Corporation, starting in engineering as an industrial engineer, focussing on continuous improvement and onboarding of ADC into the Whirlpool manufacturing process, which led to a promotion to Quality Engineer where Karim discovered his passion for quality in manufacturing using his engineering knowledge to implement improvements to processes and designs.
