Supporting The Santa Foundation this Holiday Season

Providing gifts for a local family in need this Christmas

The run-up to the holiday season can feel exciting and joyous, but for families experiencing difficult times, it can also be a source of stress and anxiety.

The Santa Foundation was created 39 years ago to give gifts to families in need in Franklin, MA and surrounding towns to help alleviate pressure, provide the chance to enjoy Christmas, and hope for a better year ahead.

Due to a significant increase in the need for their services, in 2006, The Santa Foundation moved to year-round operations, helping families in need get through difficult periods, assisting with rent or mortgage payments, oil deliveries, packing school bags, or whatever is needed to give hope of better days to come. In 2023, the cause raised enough funds to help 800 families in difficult situations.

This year, the Terracon team got involved by filling up a car with gifts to support a local family of six, a wonderful mother and five children aged between one and 10.

Our Vice president, Kathleen Wentworth, commented, “I am so proud of our team for participating in a cause that directly benefits a family in our immediate area.”
