ROLE PURPOSE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Planner with Terracon Solutions (a ChargePoint Technology Company).
This role is the perfect opportunity for the right candidate to be an integral part of the Operations team and being instrumental in driving Terracon’s growth. Working within the Terracon team in Franklin, MA and reporting into the Vice President, the Production Planner will be a connection to our Estimating, Production, Procurement and Sales operations in both North America and overseas. For the right candidate, the role will have opportunities for career progression and development in line with ChargePoint’s strategy in building a Life Science platform company.
A Production Planner, or Production Scheduler, manages the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure the company meets all deadlines. Their duties include managing material and equipment availability, scheduling production and monitoring the production process for problems.

The Role
• Review orders when they are received and set a shipping date
• Plan Assembly build of mains orders
• Release Manufacturing orders and review any requirements to manufacture parts in-house
• Planning of machined parts: Create a production plan for the machines, (what goes on which machine, process, how many, time taken) ensuring plan meets requirements for contract build and shipping date.
• Notify Procurement of any raw material requirements
• Continuously review and adapt plan as required, responding to changing priorities
• Use of ERP system and heavy use of Excel for production plans and tracking of orders
• Inform Commercial Team of any delays to final shipping date.
• Attend and update in daily production meetings

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Strong communication skills required (Verbal and Written)
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
• Ability to use Software Platforms such as ERP or MRP systems
• Experience or ability to use / communicate technical information such as part numbers, tolerances, dimensions
• Self-starter and able to work both independently and on an interdisciplinary team
• Willingness to work in a dynamic high growth rapidly changing environment. High quality and compliance values with a proactive approach to identify solutions
• A Quality foundation with attention to detail
• Ability to use and manage electronic filings systems

QUALIFICATIONS
• High School or greater education
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role
